La Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood reveló sus nominados a películas, programas de televisión y series para la ceremonia de los Globos de Oro 2020, el cual se ha convertido en la gala de premios más importantes previo a los Oscar. La 77a edición de los Golden Globes tendrá lugar el 5 de enero y tendrá por quinta vez como anfitrión al comediante Ricky Gervais.
Netflix domina la lista con 17 nominaciones gracias a 'The Irishman', 'Marriage Story' y series como The Crown. Sin embargo, HBO no se queda atrás, ya que 'Succession', 'Game of Thrones' y 'Big Little Lies' se aseguran un gran reconocimiento. Sin embargo, de alguna manera, los desaires son más interesantes que los nominados en su mayoría esperados, con HBO y los queridos críticos de Netflix 'Watchmen' y 'When They See Us' fueron ignorados, Adam Sandler y Robert De Niro tampoco lograron llegar a ser nominados para 'Uncut Gems' y 'The Irishman' respectivamente.
